A Claude meetup in Budapest for the product design community, and for everyone interested in this event. Join us for the next Claude Community Budapest Meetup, hosted by Tamas, Attila, Balazs, Balu, and Jamie. Whether you’re already integrating Claude Code, Cowork into your daily workflow, curious about agentic coding, or simply looking to connect with others exploring AI-powered development, this event is for you. Who Should Attend? This meetup is open to everyone, but this time highly dedicated for the design community, regardless of experience level—just be curious: Founders & Operators: Learn how to scale efficiently and move faster. Business Professionals: Discover how to delegate repetitive tasks to AI agents. Engineers & PMs: See firsthand how Claude can significantly reduce development cycles. The AI-Curious: Transition from theory to practice with hands-on insights rather than just another lecture. Agenda 05:30 PM: Doors open. Registration, Networking & Drinks 06:00 PM: Welcome Remarks
Rozina Szogyenyi - Deel - After Automation: Why AI Makes Designers More Valuable, Not Less She is a Staff Product Designer at Deel, focused on data and analytics products. Previously she spent several years at Shopify designing complex data platforms and merchant-facing tools. With 15+ years of experience across banking and tech (like Booking.com), she thinks deeply about how design systems scale. In her spare time she builds her own React component library (Lucent UI) and is currently working through a full design system redesign, because for her, design doesn't stop at 5pm. Abstract AI can generate a UI in seconds. So why are the best designers busier than ever? When everyone prompts from the same models, the result is visual sameness. And sameness creates demand for difference. In this talk, Rozina explores why the flood of AI-generated design actually raises the value of human judgment, what it means for how we work today, and why now is a surprisingly good time to be a designer who thinks deeply. This includes juniors who, rather than climbing a disappearing ladder of production tasks, now have the tools to punch above their weight from day one. The new path is about developing taste faster, shipping more, and learning to critically evaluate AI output rather than just generate it.
Tanya Sivo - HubSpot - Designing with Claude as a peer: thinking in prototypes She is a Staff Product Designer at HubSpot, reimagining Marketing Hub for a world where making marketing is nearly free and the work that's left is judgment. Before HubSpot she spent five years at Intercom building the AI insights and agent learning loops behind Fin. She designs by building, shipping strategy as working prototypes in Claude Code, and is bringing that practice to her design team. Abstract AI can build a UI in seconds. So why do I bring it in long before there's anything to build? There's a real case against thinking with AI: that it gives you plausible answers fast enough that you stop doing the uncomfortable part yourself. The thing that goes soft is judgment - the exact skill that matters most. This talk is the counter-argument. I bring Claude in early, before the problem is even sharp, because it widens both what I can hold in view and what I can reach in the first place. I'll walk through how I do that in Claude Code - where thinking and building share the same context - and then walk through an interactive demo: three interfaces for the same stuck AI agent, stressed in real time, to show why the one that's easiest to trust is the most dangerous. And the part no one warns you about: the discipline that keeps this generative instead of corrosive. When to stop refining. How to stay anchored to the problem you're actually solving. How to keep the judgment in your own hands. Method and practice, not a case study.
