After years of protein taking centre stage, fibre is stepping into the spotlight. Once mostly associated with digestion, fibre is now being linked to the microbiome, gut health, satiety, blood sugar control, and even the next wave of food innovation. But as fibre becomes a trend, the conversation also becomes more complex: not every fibre is the same, not every claim is meaningful, and “more” is not always better for everyone.

In this FoodHack Zurich event, we want to unpack the science, hype, and opportunities behind the fibre boom in an accessible and engaging way.
