This session breaks down what that means for founders and operators building revenue teams right now: which roles still matter, which don't, how to hire for AI fluency, and how to structure comp, coaching, and your tech stack for a world where demand is generated by agents and humans close the deals that matter. About the Speaker The session is led by Matt Cameron. He has spent 25+ years selling B2B software, the last decade fixing what breaks when companies try to scale revenue past $50M ARR. He's an Operating Advisor at JMI Equity, where he works at the board and CRO level across portfolio companies (DoorLoop, SafetyChain, ServiceTrade, and others) on go-to-market strategy and sales leadership. Before becoming an advisor, Matt actually carried the bag and built the teams: Employee #6 at Salesforce APAC, where he built the ANZ Enterprise team, made President's Club twice, and was the #1 AE outside the U.S. in 2007 VP Sales at Kahuna (Sequoia-backed), where he took ARR from $1M to $5.7M in 12 months and landed Yelp and the New York Times VP Sales at Scripted, where he tripled revenue ahead of a Series B raise (Storm, Redpoint) Senior Director of Worldwide Corporate Sales at Yammer, leading an 80-person global team through the Microsoft acquisition. The model he redesigned was adopted across the broader Microsoft direct sales group Founder of SaaSy Sales Leadership, which has trained nearly 2,000 sales leaders from 798 companies and is ranked #2 globally for sales training on G2 He's also founded three companies of his own, so he understands the founder seat from inside the office, not just across the table. Matt is a longtime selection panelist and mentor for Endeavor.org (the global network behind 2,400+ high-impact founders across 42 markets) and serves as a judge and founder coach at the Alchemist B2B Accelerator in Silicon Valley (backed by A16Z, Sequoia, Redpoint, and Accel). He also teaches "Building a High-Performance Sales Team" annually at the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Accelerator. He's the author of RevenueEQ, which makes the case that in the age of AI, the operators who win won't be the ones who know the most plays. They'll be the ones who can actually run them under pressure. These days, beyond his portfolio work, Matt lives in Las Vegas with his aerialist wife (at a resident Bellagio show), and enjoys jogging around Red Rock Canyon.
