Etkinlik Hakkında
Join Nori Agentic and Modal (featuring Warp, Opus, Goose, Librechat, and Subconscious) in New York on August 19 for our second flagship Agentics speaker series — a full evening of presentations from teams at the cutting edge of agentic development.
Whether you're just getting started with AI coding agents (beginner friendly!) or you've been shipping with them for months, you'll walk away with practical techniques you can use the next day.
Dinner will be provided!
A recap of our last event: agenticsnyc.com/events/may-2026-speaker-series.html
Huge thanks to our sponsors, MongoDB and Clickhouse!
MongoDB is the leading modern database platform empowering developers to build flexible, scalable, data-driven applications. Check-out the MongoDB for Startups for Atlas credits and Voyage AI tokens, technical expertise, and dedicated support on the world’s best modern, AI-ready data platform.
ClickHouse is one of the fastest and most resource-efficient real-time databases and data warehouses, optimized for diverse data-intensive and large-scale workloads. Applications range from interactive and user-facing to ad-hoc historical analyses.
Planned Schedule:
6 PM: Doors Open
6:30 PM – 9 PM: Presentations
9 PM – 10 PM: Networking
Each presentation will be ~10 minutes with a ~5 minute Q&A, 7 presentations total. We don't expect to use the full 2.5 hours for presentations, but we're estimating conservatively.
Speakers:
Aloke Desai is the head of product engineering and first engineering hire at Warp. He's been building agents for 5 years at Warp, helping scale it to millions of active users. Prior to Warp, he was a senior engineer and tech lead at Google Docs. Aloke's talk will focus on how a software factory can self-improve over time.
Amol Kapoor is the CEO of Nori, the lead organizer of Agentics, and the author of 12 Grams of Carbon. He's been in the AI world for 12 years, including a 4-year stint at Google Research. Nori uses background agents to do just about everything — an army of agents respond to errors, manage the CRM, keep data clean, and more. In his talk, Amol will walk through what a "software factory" is, how to build one, and what pitfalls to avoid.
Danny Avila is the founder and core maintainer of LibreChat. He was early to recognize the need for cross-provider dev tools, and started LibreChat 3 years ago to create a chat UI experience separated from the big labs. Danny will be speaking about how LibreChat solved multiplayer agent/human sandboxes.
Jack Amadeo is a software engineer on the Goose team at Block and one of the most prolific contributors to Goose, Block's open-source AI agent. He joined Block via the acquisition of Neptyne, the YC-backed Python spreadsheet startup he co-founded, and was previously an engineer at Alphabet's Sidewalk Labs. His Goose work spans the multi-provider LLM architecture, MCP integration, and the Goose SDK. Jack will speak about unbundling the Goose harness into an SDK and the uses that emerge from treating agents as SDKs.
Jack O'Brien is a two-time founder and ex-Googler, and the current CEO of subconscious.dev. LLMs are incredible tools with one massive limitation: the context window. They are fundamentally limited in what they can remember. Jack has spent the last two years thinking about how to make this problem better. He'll be speaking about context compression and long-horizon tasks in modern LLMs.
Jeffrey Silver is the CTO and cofounder of Opus. Over the last 6 years, Jeff has spent a lot of time thinking about how to build tools that benefit everyone at Opus, including non-technical team members. That focus led him to build one of the first cloud agent stacks. Jeff will be speaking about how Opus uses their cloud agent army to manage their on-call burden.
Qijia (Joy) Liu is an early Member of Technical Staff at Modal and a Penn M&T grad. She came up through Penn Labs before joining Modal, where she's focused on making serverless GPU infrastructure accessible to ML engineers. Joy will show you how to vibe train a model on Modal Training Gym, an RL library that lets users post-train on Modal in under 100 lines of code.
Agentics is a community of 1000+ people building with coding agents. We meet in New York City to share what actually works, what doesn't, and what's next. We're reinventing best practices every day (without having to be glued to Twitter).
