Bring Your Worst Case: A Engineering Thinking Workshop (w/ Casual Networking)

Every engineer has a story. A payment flow that charged users twice. A caching strategy that caused inconsistent data. An authentication system that became impossible to maintain. An AI feature that created more problems than it solved. In this workshop, we bring a real engineering challenge, failure mode, or painful lesson from our work in software products. Together, we’ll explore: What happened? Why did it happen? What was the impact? What signals were missed? How could we move toward better practices? The goal isn’t to find the perfect solution. It’s to learn from each other’s experiences and understand how different teams approach complex engineering problems.
