She dropped out of high school at 16, spent six years working in childcare, and later pursued a degree in biomedical science — all while navigating personal upheaval, including experiencing homelessness and DV during the COVID-19 pandemic. Between university lectures and long nights scrubbing toilets to get by, she built the resilience and clarity that now define her work. Three years on, she’s the founder of IRL By Amber, which runs events across the world.
