Effect Miami #1.5 (Hack Night!)

A focused hack night for engineers interested in learning Effect and using coding agents to write more correct, reliable Effect code. This event is in collaboration with Hello Hack Night - https://luma.com/kykzw2l7?tk=Kb8CoO Miami’s weekly builder meetup for people shipping side projects, learning new tech, giving lightning demos, and working alongside other serious builders. We’ll explore how to set up agents like Codex, Clanka, OpenCode, and other tools so they can better understand Effect patterns and generate useful Effect code. We’ll also touch on practical topics like Effect Streams, concurrency, structured error handling, resource management, testing, services/layers, and building real applications with Effect. All engineering levels are welcome. You don’t need to be an Effect expert, but you should be genuinely interested in learning, building, and getting hands-on. Bring a laptop, a project, or questions. Expect a casual but focused night of demos, setup help, hacking, feedback, and building with other engineers.
