Radiant Energy: Climate Leadership & Community Across the PNW

VertueLab is partnering with Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE), Women in Clean Tech & Sustainability, Out in Climate, Women in Manufacturing (WIM), Seattle Women of Electric Vehicles, and Seattle Women in Climate to create a welcoming space for women, trans, and non-binary people participating in PNW Climate Week. Radiant Energy invites leaders working across climate, sustainability, energy, innovation, manufacturing, policy, research, and community leadership into a more relational and human-centered experience of connection. Climate work is deeply collaborative, yet many people across the ecosystem are carrying immense responsibility, urgency, and complexity in isolation. This gathering is designed to create space for meaningful conversation, trust-building, and community that extends beyond Climate Week itself. Hosted at the Seattle Climate Innovation Hub in partnership with organizations supporting women, trans, and gender-diverse communities across climate and innovation ecosystems, the event will explore what becomes possible when leadership becomes more relational and climate work is no longer carried alone. The afternoon will begin with an Community & Leadership Workshop, focused on leadership, trust, collaboration, and decision-making under pressure. Through guided conversation, interactive workshop experiences, and community-driven resource sharing, participants will have the opportunity to build authentic relationships, exchange ideas, and explore more sustainable approaches to collaboration, leadership, and collective action. The evening will then expand into a broader Networking & Happy Hour for the wider climate community. This is an opportunity to connect more honestly, collaborate more sustainably, and strengthen the relationships needed to support a more innovative, resilient, and regenerative climate ecosystem across the Pacific Northwest. *Note: If you'd like to attend both the workshop and happy hour, please register separately. *Note: This event is intended to center and support women, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse people working across climate, sustainability, energy, innovation, and community leadership spaces. Community & Leadership Workshop 1:00–4:00 PM This interactive workshop explores how leadership, trust, collaboration, and decision-making shift under pressure and how more relational and regenerative approaches can support healthier teams, stronger partnerships, and more sustainable climate work. Participants will engage in guided reflection, collaborative discussion, and community exercises focused on: Leadership and collaboration under pressure Trust and collective decision-making Over-functioning and leadership fatigue Shared ownership and relational leadership Building more sustainable ways of working together Workshop Facilitator Meghan B. Craig is the founder of The Regenerative Edge™, where she works with leaders, teams, and organizations to strengthen how leadership, trust, and decision-making function under pressure. Drawing from more than 20 years of experience across climate, governance, organizational leadership, and systems change, her work focuses on building more relational, collaborative, and regenerative approaches to leadership and collective action. Networking & Happy Hour 4:30–7:00 PM The evening will then transition into a Networking & Happy Hour designed to continue fostering connection, conversation, and community among women, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse people working across the climate ecosystem. Women in Manufacturing (WIM) WA is dedicated to empowering individuals, fostering meaningful community connections, and creating opportunities for members to learn, grow, and recharge while supporting WIM National's mission to support, promote, and inspire. Seattle Women in Climate brings together women across greater Seattle who care about sustainability and building community. We host fun, hands-on events that spark curiosity, foster connections and make climate action feel accessible, hopeful, and community-powered. Seattle Women of Electric Vehicles (Seattle WEVs) aims to connect and empower women who are working in the EV industry to lead a rapid shift to electric transportation.

The Seattle Climate Innovation Hub is the first downtown space dedicated to investing in and designing technology to combat climate change. 9Zero is a membership community for founders, investors, scientists, and innovators. They are a network, a sounding board, and a support system. If you’re building in climate, they’re here to help. VertueLab accelerates, funds and supports Pacific Northwest climate tech entrepreneurs building or scaling innovative and equitable solutions to the climate crisis.

How to Get Here Address Seattle Climate Innovation Hub 1215 4th Ave 15th Floor, Seattle, WA 98101, USA. Transportation Paid parking with EV chargers is available in the building. Enter going East (up the hill) on the one-way University Street. Also consider using Spothero. The closest Link light rail station is the Symphony Station on 3rd street. Bikes, battery-powered mobility, and batteries (even when not charging) must be stored in the locked room on the C/D level of the garage. Bring your own lock for the storage rack if needed.
