Join us for our next Next Generation drinks on Tuesday, 7th July! This month, we are thrilled to welcome Denys Demko, Economic Secretary at the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK. Denys is a seasoned diplomat, having served as an advisor to the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) of Ukraine and First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands. In addition to his current role, Denys also serves as a Member of the Committee on Electronic Communications at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI). Denys specializes in advancing military-tech cooperation, fostering innovation, sanctions and driving economic diplomacy to strengthen Ukraine's global partnerships. He brings a global perspective to international collaboration. Denys will be discussing Ukraine as a Key Defence Innovation Partner for the UK. He’ll explore defence industrial cooperation and economics. Denys’ talk will unpack how markets and competition can help both the UK and Ukraine strengthen their defence capabilities. It will also provide deeper insights into the defence industry more broadly. Ultimately, this Next Generation talk will shed light on the challenges facing both the British and Ukrainian defence industries. It’s an unmissable event for anyone interested in the defence sector.
